Why Do Right Wing Conservative Christians Hate Right Wing Conservative Muslims?

For as long as I can remember, I have been a liberal. My core beliefs and values have not changed, from my days back in Nazareth 2000 years ago, to my resurrection as a leftneck in the 1970’s. So you might say that I have what the conservatives like to call a liberal bias. I admit it. I’m a lefty, a socialist, a communist, etc. My liberal beliefs are not constrained by borders, race, religion, or really anything at all. I think that is one of the main distinctions between liberals and conservatives; the liberal philosophy is universal, whereas the conservative attitude is self-serving, hypocritical, and ultimately changes according to borders, race, religion, and which political party is in control.

I support the liberal left throughout the world. If I still lived in Israel I would be protesting the settlements and pushing for human rights for the Palestinians. Even if I were so unfortunate as to have to live in Gaza- I would endorse peace and recognize the Jewish State of Israel. I believe my daughters deserve the same justice, education, and quality of life as any man, and would believe so if I lived in the darkest cave in Afghanistan! I agree with the anti-war left in Europe, the social left in Canada, the Liberal Democratic Party of Iran has my vote, and so does every other liberal party or movement in the world. Let us contrast my worldwide liberalism with the situation specific conservatism.

I think we should start with the thing that conservatives value most…money. The conservatives (i.e. republicans) are the party of the rich. They believe that the rich worked hard and deserve everything they have, but they constantly single out wealthy liberals (i.e. democrats) as being elitist and out of touch. In 2004 it was particularly interesting to hear an Andover prepped, Yale undergrad, Harvard Business School M.B.A., and son of a former president talk about John Kerry as being elitist. Kerry and Bush had similar backgrounds but Bush pursued policies to keep the wealth and power at the top while Kerry tried to repeal a tax cut that was very beneficial to him and his family. And speaking of his family, it was hilarious to watch conservatives attack Teresa Heinz Kerry for being rich and out of touch.  It was hilarious of course because she was the widow of former U.S. Senator H. John Heinz III (R-Pennsylvania) and she said, “those very same people never criticized my late husband for his money and his wealth…in fact they used it.”

Conservatives love free market capitalism. They suggest that the government should get out of business and let the market decide everything. Well, not quite everything. See, the conservatives are against capitalism when it is something they find immoral (Socialists!). They do not accept Larry Flynt as an American entrepreneur of the sex industry, even though he was supplying something with incredible demand. They might not accept him but they sure like to indulge in his products when they think nobody is looking…let me tell you. And what about the drug dealers? They are the hardest-core capitalists one could meet, but the conservatives want to lock them up for supplying a demand? I have a funny story about the perfect cross section of this reality. So when I was younger I knew this kid who did and sold every drug he could get his hands on, but he considered himself a conservative. He loved to listen to Rush and he thought Reagan was the best and Clinton the worst. I tried to tell him that conservatives wanted to cut off his mullet and send him to jail, but he had this crazy notion that he was a capitalist and therefor a conservative.

Religion might just be the best (worst?) example of the self-serving nature of conservatives. I think it is rather amusing that right-wing-conservative-Christians are the biggest haters of the Taliban and the Islamic Republic of Iran, aka the Islamic Right. Amusing because conservatives actually want their style of government in the United States…just with their religion of course. Conservatives want prayer in the classroom and in the courts. Conservatives want their wives to be subservient and at home. Conservatives believe that I am the Son of God and that all non-believers are destined to hell. Conservatives are religious hypocrites about violence, war, and killing just like right-wing-conservative-Muslims. So why do right wing conservative-Christians hate right-wing-conservative-Muslims?

Conservatives love to wave the flag, but they become traitriots as soon as a democrat is elected. Supporting the government was patriotic when King Dubya was destroying the Constitution (ask the Dixie Chicks), but the government is Big Brother now that Obama is president. Remember when Chicago was in the running for the Olympics and the flag-wavers were literally cheering against the US because Obama is from Chicago?

Could you imagine the conservative outrage if this were a group of liberal bloggers cheering against Texas? They would have had them locked up and tried for treason. I hate republicans with the best of them, but I still have love and respect for my country-even when they are in charge. Liberals and democrats gave Bush a chance after we were attacked on September 11th, on HIS watch, but conservatives would be quick to blame any attack during the Obama administration on democrats being pussies.

And speaking of Osama bin Laden, how did you like the muted response of the traitriot conservatives when president Obama ordered the double tap on OBL? Could you imagine if Dubya or any republican president had made such a courageous call?  Conservatives would have held mandatory recitals of The Pledge of Allegiance for the entire country.  They would have made every male wear red, white, and blue from head to toe with star-spangled-banana-hammocks in between.

Instead of jubilation they were like ho-hum, nothing to see here. They downplayed the role of the administration in the operation while giving credit to everyone from Horace Smith and Daniel Wesson, to George W. “I truly am not that concerned about him” Bush and Dick Cheney. They say that the military made the call, not Obama, and they say that anybody would have made the same call. If only we had a way to see what John McCain would have done if he were elected…

As usual I could write for days about all of the conservative hypocrisy, but I will just mention two other areas since they are currently in the news and being debated by congress. The first is war. Conservatives love war. They would support a republican administration if they wanted to go to war with Mexico or Canada, but they cannot support president Obama’s decision to use American forces in a NATO mission. Now I am against war and not particularly pleased with the decision to send our troops to Libya…because if we send them there then why not Bahrain or Syria as well? But that is me and I am a liberal-not a war mongering conservative. The same group of republicans, who gave the Bush administration carte blanche on war, does not think a democratic president has the same authority.

And last but not least I have to mention the deficit. For years republicans have been fond of saying that deficits don’t matter (“Reagan taught us that”). What they really meant to say was that deficits don’t matter when republicans are in charge. See, deficits caused by tax cuts and the unpaid wars are okay, but deficits under democratic leadership are disastrous. The conservatives are now trying to use the deficits created by Bush and the republicans as reason to roll back social programs instead of rolling back the tax cuts. Like the Apostle Ezekizzle said, conservatives are sickening but brilliant!

Peace be with you,

Republicans Continue To Crucify

So on the observation of my crucifixion, I would like to take a few moments to reflect on the irony of republicans, who worship me, but continue to crucify the people emulating my teachings. It just feels like they are the type who read the cliff notes but not the book. They go to church because it is the right or smart thing to do in the United States, like buying a Toyota or a Honda, not for my bleeding-heart liberal ideas. They only show up on holy days and leave right after Communion (if it is celebrated).

They pray to me for high profit margins, wealth, and power. Tight little mullet-headed preachers have convinced their sheeple that the prosperity gospel is somehow Christian. It is not! I do not care about your profit margin. I only care about your business if you are providing well paying jobs with benefits and rights. I do not want you to be rich, again-have you ever read the Bible (Matthew 19:24 & 6:24, Timothy 6:10)?

The republicans oppose me in the current debates in the congress and in the country. I’m to the left of universal healthcare. I’m still upset with President Obama for not pushing through a single payer program when democrats had control. I mean, if the Tea-Necks are going to call you a socialist, regardless of the law, you might as well get something in the deal. And just a note of warning to the Tea-Necks…do not waste your time praying to me if you get sick. You will have better luck praying to the republican leadership for some of their plush, socialistic, government healthcare.

I want cuts to defense spending and weapons systems not education and teachers. I want gays and lesbians to be able to get married and divorced…just like republicans. I want the top 1% to pay 50% in taxes…at least. I want my religion taught and observed in churches or homes not in schools or courtrooms. I want my beautiful mothers, wives, and daughters to have the same opportunities, the same pay, and the same dignity. I want the liberals, longhairs, and hippies to follow me not these conservative chode-ass republicans.

Peace be with you,

Ann Coulter: Please Put Down The Crack Pipe

One of the main reasons I have revealed myself at this moment in time is to combat the lies told by modern day Pharisees. Ann Coulter might just be the Queen of these Pharisees. I recently laughed my way through her right-wing version of history at ChodePAC 2011.

In her tweaker-blonde version of history, Iraq is a republican success story, and the revolution in Egypt is an Obama/democratic failure. Of course, she forgot to mention some of the best details…

She chides democrats for not supporting democracy in the Middle East because they were against the war in Iraq. Apparently she thinks democracy was the reason we invaded Iraq? I remember a lot of “reasons” given by the Bush Administration…democracy was never high on the list.

As if that is not revisionist bullshit enough- she throws in the old, “gassed his own people” routine. She forgets to tell the ChodePAC audience that Saddam was on our team when he “gassed” his people. And by our team, I mean team Reagan! She also fails to mention that the United States was the only member of the United Nations Security Council to vote against the declaration on Iraqi chemical weapons in March 1986. And what about the fact that her boy Reagan continued to funnel money to Iraq, even after the reports of the gassing of Kurds?

The next absurdity is the WMD claim. One really has to love the people who still cling to the lies of the Bush Administration…even after the administration and the architects have walked away from their marketing plan (WMD, Iraq’s involvement in 9-11, etc…). That is the problem with the fairy tails told by Pharisees…their Faux News audience continues to believe in them. According to a 2007 Newsweek poll on American’s knowledge of history, 41% of Americans still believed that Saddam and Iraq were directly involved in the 9-11-2001 attacks. 41%!

The only validity to her claim is that after 8 years of searching every inch of the country we have found minute remnants of chemical weapons…most likely from the Reagan-supported years. Ironically, North Korea and Iran have moved closer to becoming nuclear states while we combed the desert (“we ain’t found shit”) for trace amounts of WMD. The fact that she would brag about the nanogram of WMD we found, while looking for stockpiles, is the equivalent of the DEA being proud of a major marijuana raid in which they found remnants of a seed…busted!

Coulter and the right-wingers do not care about the loss of innocent lives so I will just look at the cost of the war in Iraq compared to Egypt. Pay attention Tea-necks. Thanks to the Crizzletians at the National Priorities Project we can get an updated cost of the fiasco in Iraq. Every time the number increases by $100 a Tea-necker gets tea-bagged!

This does not matter to Coulter because Egypt is an ally (i.e. we paid Mubarak $60 Billion to have peace with Israel). This seems to be her main concern…that we will not be able to payoff and dictate our will on the new Egyptian government. She seems to believe that since American troops were involved in Iraq, the outcome is guaranteed to be in the favor of the US. This is an obvious stretch considering the newfound influence of Shia Iran over Shia Iraq. Either scenario is ultimately out of our control. Egypt could stay a military dictatorship or become an Islamic Republic…and so could Iraq!

Sure, Saddam was a ruthless dictator and the US should have never been on his side (thanks Reagan!) but why was he any different than the Saudis, North Koreans, or the Iranians? And what about the republican deal with the devil in Saudi Arabia? Why do we allow the Saudis to breed such resentment towards the US? Why was it more important to deflect criticism of the royal family than it was to prevent the Saudi terrorists from attacking us on September 11th? If you listen real close I’m sure you can hear a 41%’er saying, “they were Iraqi”…

You know she is hitting the pipe when she brings up Reagan’s involvement with Afghanistan and the Mujahideen…as something positive. Just like Saddam, the Mujahideen (Bin Laden) was well funded by Reagan and they would repay him for his involvement 20 years later. So the problems in Iraq and Afghanistan can be directly traced back to shortsighted republican policy. Reagan and the republicans loved the Afghans because they were ultimately just right-wing fanatics believing in a different myth. At least they were just terrorists…not communists.

The one controversy at ChodePAC 2011 was the inclusion of the conservative gay group GOProud (Stockholm Syndrome?). Coulter is a fan of GOProud and says that she is a friend of the gays. I’m wondering if Ann Coulter is gay…not that there’s anything wrong with that as it were. Actually, it would be the one cool thing about her. If not, what is she the 50 year-old virgin? Since she has been engaged several times but never married (classic lesbian) your faithful editor has to assume that she has never had premarital sex.

Ronald Reagan: Patron Saint Of The Tea Party?

So with all of the celebrations and Sarah Palin speeches in honor of what would have been Ronald Reagan’s 100th birthday, I thought I would take the time to punk some Tea-necks (you know how I roll). See, I do not think Reagan could get elected by the Tea Party because he would not be Reagan-enough for them. Since it is obvious that the Tea Party did not pay much attention to deficits, taxes, or even politics until January 2009-the following is a quick summary of what might upset them about Reaganomics…

We know the deficit is the one thing the Tea-neckers hate more than Obama and the government. If they paid attention during the 80’s they would have remembered the debate over deficits. George H. W. Bush called Reaganomics “Voodoo Economics” because it would have taken a Voodoo Priest to prevent the huge tax cuts from increasing the deficit. Your boy Reagan won the debate but not the war.

H. W. Bush had to raise taxes to fix the Reagan mistake. It cost him his job. Clinton also had to raise taxes to fix the Reagan mistake. He was reelected, balanced the budget, and erased the federal deficit (Tea Party ♥ Clinton?). Clinton left office with a $236 billion surplus and a projected 10-year surplus of $5.6 trillion.

Dubya was selected and came to Washington determined to spend the surplus and run deficits, because as Dick Cheney famously said, “Reagan proved deficits don’t matter.” In Dick’s defense, he meant deficits don’t matter as long as a white republican is the president. Bush left office with a $1.2 trillion deficit and projected shortfalls of $3.1 trillion for the next decade.

President Obama inherited the Bush $1.2 trillion deficit and the Tea Party formed the following night. All of the sudden the evil deficit was endangering the future of all of the little rednecks…and even the futures of all of their little rednecks. The 2009 deficit was $1.4 trillion and it was $1.3 trillion last year. If you have short-term memory issues and have already forgotten, Obama started with a $1.2 trillion deficit.

The Reagan tax cuts of 1981 and 1986 reduced the top income tax rate from 70% to 28% and reduced revenue by $1.48 trillion. The Reagan tax increases of 1982 and 1984 combined for the biggest tax increase ever enacted during peacetime. The total tax increases equaled $1.5 trillion by 1989. Reagan redistributed wealth by cutting income taxes (the rich) and raising payroll and gas taxes (harder on middle class and poor). Republicans love to cry about wealth redistribution whenever tax cuts for the rich are discussed, but they are okay with redistribution as long as it flows from the middle class and poor up to the rich.

I realize this information will not make a difference to the Tea-necks because facts and reality do not seem to be important requisites to them or republicans in general. They will continue to ignore the fact that their hero Reagan actually raised their taxes and the socialist Obama actually cut them! They will continue to praise Reagan for running deficits and continue to protest Obama for the same. And most important of all- they will continue to worship your faithful editor, even though I am a self-proclaimed bleeding heart liberal.

Genesis 1:1 In The Beginning God Created The Heavens And The Earth

In the beginning the FED created fiat currency and fractional reserve banking.  The FED is god-like in that if you are a true believer in the system, the FED plays god by controlling how much money is in supply, its value, and the amount of credit available to banks.

I’m writing this because from what I have learned over the past several years– the common denominator of all of our economic problems is our banking system and especially the Federal Reserve and the act that made the FED possible, the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and the 16th Amendment (federal income tax).

So what’s the deal with the FED you might ask?  Before answering that question, it’s important to note that credit is essentially debt.  Debt is necessary for the creation of money to exist in our current system of money creation.  USG (US Government) debt can only be serviced–never paid off, because paying off the debt would cause all the money to be removed from the market.  Yea I know, WTF is he talking about.  Well I was turned on to this by a very close friend when he introduced me to a video done in the 1990s called Money Masters.

The video is old and sometimes dry but if you get past the style–the knowledge is one of the most important subjects you will ever learn.  You will not learn any of this in college or grad school.  Conspiracy or coincidence–you be the judge, but it’s absolutely necessary for anyone to understand if they are to see the matrix for what it is.  I use the term matrix because it really is like the movie in that once you take the Red Pill you will never look at the money/political landscape the same way.

So back to the creation of money.  G. Edward Griffin wrote a book called The Creature from Jekyll Island.  Griffin goes to great lengths to provide a detailed history of the FED.  Does he have an agenda–sure, but don’t lose the forest through the trees.  He does a great job of explaining how the FED colludes with the USG.  He explains that the FED is a quasi-government entity i.e. they have been given the authority to regulate our money supply but they are a private banking cartel.  That’s right–PRIVATE bank.  Not federal by any shape, form or fashion.  He describes the creation of money under the FED as the Mandrake Mechanism.

or from Griffin himself:

Take a look for yourself.  Again, IMO any dialogue about the current mess we are in should start with a sound understanding of how we got into this mess and what we are really up against.  I believe that if the American people really understood what is going on that they would not put up with it.

The 16th Amendment.  This amendment guarantees the FED will receive interest payments on the money your government borrows from a private banking cartel you know as the FED. That’s right, your federal income taxes are collected only to pay a private bank the interest it makes from loans to your government.  Alan Russo made a documentary a few years back called From Freedom to Fasicm.  I say again, your federal income taxes are collected only to pay the interest on money your government borrowed from a private bank.

Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution states Congress has the authority: To coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, fix the standard of weights and measure.

Now I’m no constitutional expert, and many debate this particular section but it was written with the central bank of England in mind i.e. Congress will issue money–NOT THE FREAKING BANKS.  For the Founding Fathers were all too familiar with what happens when a central, private bank controls the money supply.  One of my favorite quotes by Mayer Amschel Rothschild is: “Permit me to issue and control the money of the nation and I care NOT (emphasis mine) who makes the laws.”  Some people believe the 16th Amendment was not legally ratified.  It takes two-thirds of both houses and 3/4 of the states to ratify the Constitution.

OBTW, pay your taxes or you are going to prison.  Just ask Wesley Snipes.  I find it fascinating that there is little mention of what prompted the 16th Amendment.  Why not vote on it again and see if the American people would vote to tax themselves.  I’m guessing we would not.  If the 16th Amendment were repealed, it would spell the end of the FED as we know it.  Of course that will never happen because we live in a largely ignorant and distracted society.  You want a stimulus package–quit paying federal income taxes.  I would love the pay raise personally.  I’m just saying . . .

So I digress a bit but my point is this: We can talk politics until we are blue in the face; however, both political parties must navigate a broken, corrupt and extremely powerful system to get in power and stay there.  I’m speaking of the system that is controlled by a group of men or families that control our money globally.  Now to some of you that sounds like some crazy conspiracy shit I know.  I felt the same way.  But the FED takes its marching orders from the Bank of International Settlements (BIS) home based in Basel, Switzerland.  See:

Also see:

GOP or DEM–doesn’t really matter if both parties have to navigate a broken and corrupt system that relies on debt as the creation of money.  Think about it.  We have a political system that has become a business. Candidates must buy their way in.  Even the rich need capital and they receive that capital in the form of PACs or Political Action Committees.  Last year the highest appellate court in the land ruled that corporations can spend as much as they want to, in essence, buy votes.

So if you think for one minute that your vote counts as much as some Billion dollar corporation–you are a fool. We cannot even begin to compete with that kind of power.  The solution IMO would be to remove the corporate influence and bar any financial payments to candidates. Corporations will lobby for laws in their respective corporation’s best interest and as we have seen over the past 30 years at least, corporate interests are often contrary to the good of the people.  So congress and the POTUS are influenced by the corporations that put them in office and ultimately they must answer to them.

Corporations must have sustained economic growth to remain competitive and promote the value of their stock.  That means privatize gains and externalize risk.  Outsource labor, clear cut, pollute the environment, allow unsafe products to enter the market, inject food with growth hormones, drill for oil under the riskiest of circumstances, make risky business deals knowing full well the American taxpayers will pay their bill (“too big to fail”, auto maker buyouts, subsidizing AMTRAK, BP oil spill, AIG, Countrywide, TARP, etc…).  We are essentially ruled by a “corporatocracy”.

Grossly intertwined in the corporatocracy are the banks and more importantly the FED.  If you doubt the FED does not answer to Congress, then how do you explain the FED refusal to be audited?  Just a thought, but Ron Paul pushed for it and it went nowhere.  I agree with some of Paul’s ideas but I flatly reject Libertarian ideology as the end all be all.  Government should regulate industries that can’t/won’t regulate themselves or else we take it in the shorts.  Also government should pick up the slack where corporation and small businesses can’t or won’t because it’s not profitable.  Caring for the poor, old and disabled–and more importantly . . . healthcare.  Yea, yea that’s a whole different and intense debate but I believe all legal citizens of the US should have access to affordable healthcare.  Additionally, I don’t think churches should pick up the tab and take care of the poor either because it’s a slippery slope to the church and state eloping.

Having said that, I also believe corporations should and need to exist.  Just that they should exist for the betterment of society as a whole.  They should not be afforded the same rights as individuals.  Period.  They should provide goods and services and employ Americans to make those goods and services.  Their boards should get paid less when the corporation performs poorly.  Managers should get paid more than workers.  Incentives do matter but workers should have a say or voice in management and should be able to make an honest living that supports their families within reason.  Otherwise power corrupts, greed prevails and all hell breaks loose and we end up with the people fearing corporations, a government that is ruled by them, and a military that protects their interests.  Their interests are marketed to us as our interests and those interests become our reality, our concept of beauty, happiness, morality, style, self-worth, etc.  Available for a price and oh by the way–we’ll loan you the money to participate in the American Dream (credit).  What a deal.

In closing, I hope I have sparked some interest in learning more about the FED and why it is necessary to overhaul our money system and political process if we have any hope of maintaining the lifestyles we all have become accustomed to in our current unsustainable way of American life. Change is coming.  The key is to survive the transition to whatever is next.  Unfortunately I think we are at the precipice of a crash of sorts.  The same crash that all great empires have undergone.  Off the subject but worth reading is The Five Stages of Collapse by Dmitry Orlov.

Welcome To Ohia

Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) is paying his top staff members significantly more than the previous administration, but his total office payroll is $300,000 less.  He is cutting the total payroll by eliminating eight positions and decreasing the pay of his lowest staff members.  Yes, you read that correctly, his fiscal conservatism only applies to administrative assistants, receptionists, and mail clerks.John Kasich

Kasich is paying his Chief of Staff $170,000 which is $47,000 more than former Gov. Strickland’s Chief of Staff.  He created a special position for his crony from Lehman Brothers that pays $25,000 more than Strickland’s Chief Legal Counsel.  His Communications Director is earning $31,000 more and his Press Secretary will get a $20,000 increase.

So the $120,000 raise he gave to his top people needed to be offset with some cutting on the low end-as it were.  He eliminated eight positions at a time when Ohio’s unemployment level is hovering near ten percent.  One administrative assistant is going from $35,000 per year to $23,000 and another is taking a $5000 hit.  The two mail clerks have had their pay reduced from $31,990 and $27,997 to $25,000 per year.  His receptionist will be making $1000 less this year thanks to the sharp-eyed salary cutter!

Kasich has defended the huge increases by saying that in order to get the best people he has to compete with the private sector.  This is totally ironic because he also said that government workers are paid more than their private sector counterparts…apparently just the low-enders.  Furthermore, most of his top staff members have experience in government not the private sector!  The one exception is Jai Chabria, his crony from Lehman.

Administrative Assistant: “Sorry I’m not the best and brightest Gov. Kasich.  I also planned to go to Ohio State after I graduated, but my parents didn’t have enough money to put me through college.”

Gov. Kasich: “Well, the world needs ditch diggers, too.”

Sickening But Brilliant

If 2/3 of the USG budget is spent on entitlements (Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security) then it only makes sense that if you are going to balance the budget (which we all know is not possible and so do they) you must cut DoD spending. What annoys me is that the GOP seems to have forgotten that they stood up Homeland Defense (bigger government) and are very responsible for the gross and disgusting abuses fiscal spending during the Bush years (war, and GWOT spending). Yet, now all the sudden they want to cut government spending and blame the deficit on TARP and Obamacare–in essence be the champions of getting government spending under control. Brilliant play GOP. Sickening but brilliant. Once again, I hate both parties–but I HATE the GOP way more.

And where the FUCK was the Tea Party then? Having said that and if you believe the Fabian Society conspiracy (coincidence) of global socialism and NWO–then perhaps the Tea Party, Liberty Movement and Oath Keepers will slow them down? Maybe they will be the wrench in their cog? Maybe they will or are the modern day Andrew Jacksons? After all, Jackson is responsible for genocide of the American Indians (Indian Removal Act of 1830), but he also fought the international bankers and won–at least while he was alive??? I’m just saying. Just like Jackson, the Tea Party movement might be a double-edged sword. Crazy-ass crackers that most of them are.

If you read the latest Bruno article, he links an interview of George Soros. In that interview Soros explains that the goal for the US is a controlled crash of sorts. Controlled by the IMF that is and that the “controlled” part is not guaranteed.

So if TPTB can actually pull off a controlled crash, would that be better than an uncontrolled crash? I mean if they are controlling the crash–are they going to set up the next house of cards that they control? Having said that, anarchy will not be fun and probably not survivable for many people. But hey–that’s CRAZY talk right? I mean the economy is growing, the new House will fix everything, inflation is in check and deficit spending is the only way to pull us out of recession. Oh yea, Peak Oil and Global Warming are liberal elite lies designed to make money for the hippy, tree hugging, Prius driving, draft dodging lefties, communo-facists socialists (they can be used interchangeably–just ask the Tea Party).

The New Opiate Of The Masses

It cracks me up that 40% of Americans support a tax cut that only 2% will receive.  The republicans have convinced Bubba that he should support tax breaks for the rich because he might be rich someday.  Guess what Bubba-you are not going to be rich-so please start voting your reality and not the republican dream.

To make sure Bubba is just confused enough-the republicans always point to small business owners.  Again, guess what Bubba-small business owners do not make $200,000 per year.  In fact, the only time a “small business” is making that amount of money is when it is a multinational corporation masquerading as small business for the tax breaks.

Just like Bubba I plan to be rich someday-I’m just not banking on the tax cut while I’m not.  And when I am…I will gladly pay whatever taxes I owe so that I can punk Bubba and tell him that I pay more in taxes than he makes!  That’s for you Tiny!

Dancing With America

Mrs. Crizzle watches “Dancing With the Stars” and she is suddenly feeling the Palin effect.  She is not as political as your boy-so I will admit that it’s kind of nice to have her deal with the Palin freaks for once.  I do not watch the show, but from what I can gather, the Tea-necks have taken over the public voting segment.  Week after week Bristol Palin has the lowest scores, and week after week the Tea-necks vote for her and cut a more qualified dancer.  My bride blames the scoring system because it gives equal influence to the scores of the professional judges and the unprofessional voting public (de Tocqueville anybody?).  I see a more direct correlation at work.

For me, it is the perfect analogy for Palin, the Tea-necks, and conservative America in general.  See, they know Bristol is not the best dancer, but they vote for her because of her “real-American” mom and her conservative values (you know-abstinence after pregnancy!).  They do not care that Sarah Palin is not even close to being qualified for my local school board-let alone the presidency.  They support her because she is one of them-you know, ignorant!  They criticize our president as being clueless while they praise the intellectually incurious Palin and her incoherent clichés.

Since we know that they are not voting for her dancing skills we must consider the irony of conservatives endorsing an unemployed single mother.  Somehow it does not matter to these hypocrites that Bristol had a baby out of wedlock and is not even with the father…I’m sure it would if she were a black teenager or the teenage daughter of Nancy Pelosi.  Where is Dan Quayle with his condemnation?  Instead of disapproval, Bristol is touted as an abstinence only spokeswoman.  Again-abstinence looks good on you…not me.  It’s like Tommy Chong telling kids not to burn the herb…because he got busted-not because he believes it!  Just like all of the other conservative hypocrisy…their rules only apply to others (you know-liberals, democrats, etc…).

Peace be with you,
